SF City 1, PAC San Jose Tigres 0: Kirkland’s Free Kick Sends 10 man City to the NorCal Summer Playoffs!

SF City FC picked up a crucial victory in NorCal Premier league play and defeated PAC San Jose Tigres by a 1-0 scoreline. Captain Danny Kirkland scored right on the stroke of halftime with a spectacular free kick. SF City FC played with a man down for 65 minutes after starting goalkeeper Ryan Buckingham was sent off. In stepped Nick Littleton, an attacking central midfielder, who deputized excellently for Buckingham during the duration of the match. SF City FC was organized and stingy defensively in the 2nd half, which catapulted them to the top of the NorCal Premier League Bay South table, one point above PAC. SF City will play the top teams in the NorCal Premier League North next weekend for a chance to play the SoCal Premier League Champion, with California bragging rights on the line.
