A group of local soccer fans and the SF chapter of American Outlaws got together to promote SF City from local side to semipro following the 50+1 model. A mix of memberships were sold as well as shares to private investors.

Muni partnership
After a season with no sponsors, the club announces a historic partnership with San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni). A first-of-it’s-kind deal attracted new supporters. The partnership helped the club attract new supporters across the San Francisco, and made its jerseys highly sought after.

TAPATIO
International Friendly
San Francisco City hosts professional Mexican club, CD Tapatio, in the club’s first-ever international friendly. Final score 1-2 to Tapatio, with Adrien Argast scoring the club's first goal against an international club.
